FAMILY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES:
What our Organization does:

 Family Development Services located in Western Sydney and provides community based groups, referral and information service, telephone support for families/carers of children with Learning Difficulties (LD) and associated disorders such as ADHD and Aspergers Syndrome. We run a workshops such as "Off the Cuff", "Homework Wars" ,  "Caring for your ADHD child", "Seasons for Growth', and "Stop Think Do". You can self refer or be referred to us by a agency.

Stop, Think, Do (social skills workshop) Caring for kids with ADHD, Check out EVENTS Page. Check out our EVENTS Page for the programs currently running. We also work with other Community Service organizations in running  workshops.

Our non profit organization aims to raise awareness in the community about the issues facing children and their families with LDs and to help gain better services for them, this is done by lobbying the government, attending forums and interagency visits (networking) and advertising our group as many ways as possible.

FDS is not currently running a Aspersers/Autism support group, call ASPECT (Links page) for your nearest group.

Membership:

 Become a member and you will receive Mail outs, Library Access and more!
The Cost is $16.00 per year for parents/carers, $8 for concessions and students
and $25.00 for Organisations.
